"Adey Ramsel is a force of nature. His determination and passion coupled with his superb management skills have enabled him to achieve the impossible: the establishment of a new Stage Company, from scratch, in a location with no tradition of performing arts. Adey was the driving force behind it all: budgets, contracts, recruitment, funding applications, company management, liaison, setting up a Board, - and even directing the shows! I can't recommend him highly enough" - Ashley Church, Ex-Chair, Newmarket Stage Company Board, Ex-CEO, Newmarket Business Association
‘I can’t speak highly enough of Adey's abilities and skills as a director and producer. He has been a veritable pleasure to work with, a director who allows his actors to explore, experiment, and to be gently, but skilfully guided. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending him for posts of director or producer to any potential employer. You won’t regret it.’ George Henare CNZM, OBE, Actor

Adey is pleased to announce his latest stage play: "Slippery When Wet".
How far does brotherly love go? All the way to the bedroom apparently when Matt steps in for his impotent twin brother Martin and offers to impregnate his wife for him. Legal issues aside the appeal of doing it on the ‘cheap’ sells the idea to Martin whilst his wife Tabitha is sold on the idea that at least she knows Matt, “I mean, who exactly are these sperm donors? How pretty are they?” Before you can say “Is it legal?” a room is rented, money changes hands and the scene is set. But is Martin ready for fatherhood or is it merely a ploy for him to get back at his own father; can Martin sit next door drinking Milo with his brothers wife whilst his wife has sex with another man; how close is Martin to losing his business? Has Martin actually understood his own life and who’s playing who for the fool?
A very adult comedy moving from the negotiating table to the bedroom in one hilarious scene after another, culminating in a very un-sexy, sex scene in a rented hotel room. With serious undertones of what being a father means, brotherly love and what people require in order to love, this is a play that requires a strong cast up for a challenge and able to deal with a strong sub plot of love, dejection, plenty of baggage and sex. Whilst cast do not appear naked there is that impression.
An adult comedy for 3 men, 2 women; editing is happening now but preview copies can be available.
