Adey has extensive experience in traditional professional pantomime from acting, writing and directing. He also played Captain Blood, again the villain, in a production of Dick Whittington, (his favourite panto), that toured the UK. A six month tour of the UK also saw him play Hassan in Arabian Nights and the Dame, the Sultana of Baghdad in a follow-up tour.
As writer, Adey has scripted Dick Whittington and Peter Pan for Torquay in the UK and recently has produced and directed Cinderella in New Zealand.
